 The Two Rock Collection "Uncle Frankie-Bull Rider"
We had to dig deep into the family archives for this one...This is a rendering from an old family photo of my Great Uncle Frankie-Francisco Williams-Cowboy, Pro Wrestler, Steer Wrestler and Bull Rider. Frankie was my Grandfathers older brother who lived in Monterey County, California and from what I recall, he was as tough as shoe leather! This picture was taken at the Salinas, California Rodeo in 1919. I don't know if he made the bell or not, but my guess is, it would take more than an angry bull to get Frankie on the ground. This great vintage image is accented by a surround of specially embosssed leather, and has matching embossed leather corner gussets. The extra long 6" fringe on the ends adds to the vintage cowboy look of this 14"x22" leather pillow. The corners gussets are adorned with four beautiful hand patinated copper conchos.
